Brantford's best parks

Partager:

This spring, savour the scenery nearby. Use today’s post from the Hazelview Properties blog team to find the best parks near our Brantford apartments.

Start close to home

You do not have to travel far to experience the beauty of Brantford’s many public parks. Residents at Graham Bell Apartments (24, 26 & 28 Helen Avenue), for example, are just across the street from scenic Princess Anne Park. From Centennial Towers Apartments (150 Darling Street & 129 Wellington Street), walk just five minutes to historic Victoria Park (65 Market Street), a quaint spot for an afternoon stroll.

Access the trails

A great way to explore Brantford’s best parks is to ride the trails. Jump on the Fordview Trail via Dogford Park (189 Gilkison Street), a simple five-minute bike ride from Graham Bell Apartments. The pathway runs all the way up to Fordview Park and down to Gilkison Flats, where you can connect with the Gilkison Trail to lengthen your ride. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of the Grand River as you traverse through many of Brantford’s finest parks.

Mohawk Park Pavilion

Whether for your next family gathering, an evening concert or a quiet afternoon to yourself, Mohawk Park Pavilion (51 Lynnwood Drive) is one of the city’s most popular parks and a great place to get to know this spring. From Centennial Towers Apartments, plan on an easy 10-minute bike ride to get to this green space.

Lorne Park

Garden enthusiasts will want to add Lorne Park (Ballantyne Drive) to their list of must-visit destinations in Brantford. Only a five-minute bike ride from Graham Bell Apartments, located next to Fordview Park, the flowers here create a serene environment, ideal for de-stressing after a long week or taking photos for special events.

Which park will you visit first? The blog team at Hazelview Properties hopes one of today’s recommendations becomes a new favourite. For more information about our Brantford apartments and nearby amenities, visit our website today.
