Edmonton Ribfest
If you’re a meat lover who loves BBQ, Edmonton Ribfest is your paradise. Try some of the best slow cooked ribs, pulled pork and chicken as well as the beer and wine tap. Saskatoon Exhibition
There’s so much to be excited about when it comes to the Saskatoon Exhibition. With over 20 rides, incredible shows and delicious food, this is one summer festival you won’t want to miss. This year, witness Terrance Bellinger hypnotize crowds or watch a magic show with dogs! If that’s not your thing, you can always explore the exhibitors or grab a bite at one of the new restaurants and finally try that charcoal ice cream that you’ve been thinking about for months! The festival runs from August 6th to 11th, 2019.
Red River Exhibition
Kick off your summer at the Red River Exhibition in Winnipeg. This 10-day festival starts on June 14th and features all kinds of rides, music, buskers and competitions. Plus, there are a ton of attractions including the new Extinction Park where you can get the ultimate dinosaur experience or meet your child’s favourite princess or superhero at the Living Fairytale. Don’t forget to check out the shoppers market while you enjoy your favourite midway treats and be sure to stay for the fireworks!
New France Festival
If you haven’t checked out The New France Festival (Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France) yet, add it to your list! Transport yourself to the seventeenth century at this unique festival and witness thousands of colourful costumes from that time, musical performances and parades. The purpose of the festival is to celebrate the arrival of the first Europeans in America, as well as Quebec’s rich cultural heritage. The New France Festival runs from August 1st to 4th in Quebec City.
