The Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival is back for another year of exciting performances by local and international directors, producers, actors, dancers, singers, poets and more. Today on the blog Hazelview Properties has a brief breakdown of the festival, including a few of our top show picks. Hazelview’s Winnipeg communities are located in some of the city’s most bustling and established areas including the St. Vital community and in the heart of vibrant downtown Winnipeg.

About the Festival

Every year the Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival welcomes over 170 companies from all over the world to present exciting independent theatre to audiences of all ages and tastes. 100% of the box office revenue goes directly back to the performing companies and artists are given complete artistic control over their productions. The festival runs from July 15th until the 26th and is a great way to get out and enjoy an entertaining day or evening of local theatre, dance, musicals and more. There are 182 indoor shows in the festival, including everything from live poetry to kids’ theatre. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the door.
