Spring Fashion Trends

Partager:

A new year means new fashion trends and this spring there's virtually a trend for everyone. From crochet and feathers to low-key outfits, you’re going to see a wide range of diverse looks everywhere. Hazelview Properties wants you to look your best in 2019 with these exciting new fashion trends.

Crochet

Crochet is making a big comeback this Spring. Get ready to see crochet purses, dresses, tops, bathing suits and even crochet shoes. It might be an intimidating look for some, but if you pair the right items together, you can be comfortable and look trendy. Make a statement with a wide-leg pant and a fitted crochet top, or add a funky crochet bag to a simple jeans and t-shirt outfit. If you’re feeling really adventurous, try crochet from head to toe!

Cycling Shorts

It’s hard to believe that skin-tight, spandex shorts would ever be a hit, but they seem to be the hottest new trend for 2019. They can look great with a t-shirt for a more casual look or with a fitted high-waisted shirt for a night out. The best part is that they are comfortable. If you’d like to incorporate them into your work wardrobe, opt out for longer shorts and try pairing them with a nice blazer for a more polished look.

Fringe and faux feathers

There’s no better way to reveal your inner hippie than with some faux feathers and fringe! Feathers have been used in fashion for hundreds of years, so it’s no surprise that they’re back as one of the hottest trends in 2019. Whether you like over-the-top eclectic feathery outfits or subtle feather accessories, there’s something feathery for everyone to wear. Pair your feathery pieces with fringe moccasins, a fringe purse or a kimono for the perfect bohemian look

Neon

Whether you like it or not, neon colours are in. From fashion designers to celebrities, it seems that everyone is experimenting with bold colours -- especially in colours like tangerine, lime and lemon. Maybe you’re intimidated by neon anything, and can’t get yourself to wear such vibrant colours. Why not start small and add neon accessories such as scarfs, purses or jewellery to your wardrobe. You can also tone down a bright piece with colours such as beige and cream. When you start feeling a little more confident in bold colours, go for a neon dress or even combine two neon colours to really stand out in the crowd! Keep in mind that bright colours are not just for events and parties -- they can be great looks for the office too!

Low Key

Don’t dismiss earth tones just because fashionistas are embracing colour overload this season. Sometimes less is more! Top designers are using toned down, muted colours on the runways, so why shouldn’t you? The nice thing about neutral and earthy colours (such as beige, olive and brown) is that they go with everything including patterns and bright colours. Plus, these shades

are ideal for a low-key, casual look. You can try pairing a beige top with olive green pants for a classic, laid-back look that’s absolutely effortless.

Hazelview hopes these hot fashion trends inspire you to look your best and try wearing something really stylish this spring. You don’t necessarily have to shop for new clothes and accessories to try these looks. Sometimes it’s just about recycling old items from your closet!
