Collective Arts Brewing

If you love art, craft beer and cider, Collective Arts Brewing should be on your radar. It launched in 2013 with the mission to fuse the creativity of craft beverages with the talents of artists from around the world. The brewery's product labels are hard to miss. They're bright, bold, colourful and feature limited-edition works of art. They call for new art twice a year. Since they launched, they've received over 50,000 artist submissions from over 40 countries. In terms of drinks, the brewery produces and sells a core lineup of beers, plus unique small batch beers, award winning gins, barrel-aged rums, premixed cocktails, sparkling water and non-alcoholic beers.

Coop Wicked Chicken

Remember when dining out was a bit kitschy and kind of exciting? It still is in Hamilton. Coop Wicked Chicken is where punk rock attitude meets delicious chicken. It's a restaurant inspired by 80s and 90s nostalgia that serves up a ton of fun, diverse and flavourful menu items. Visit them for lunch, dinner or a boozy brunch. Be sure to try their deep fried deviled eggs, seared and fried chicken sandwiches and dirty bird tacos. Their chicken is fresh, local, brined and bathed in buttermilk and spiced to perfection.

Gage Park

Gage Park is a beloved multi-use park in Hamilton. It's one of the city’s most iconic, historical and cultural landscapes. This 30 hectare park includes the Children’s Museum, the Roselawn Lawn Bowling Club, the Rosedale Tennis Club, the Robinson Bandshell, baseball diamonds, play areas, a spray pad, an extensive walkway system, open green passive areas, mature trees, stunning gardens, a gorgeous fountain, and a breathtaking 14,000 square foot, fully-accessible tropical greenhouse! Visit the greenhouse to escape to its lush, tropical setting -- even in winter. It features a huge collection of subtropical plants, rare species, and tall palm trees. There's also a turtle pond, fish pond, and waterfall. In the summer, visit the park's beautiful rose garden which features 16 hybrid tea varieties and 14 climbing roses.
