Partager:

Looking for convenient places to pick up fresh, local and delicious produce this summer? Hazelview Properties has put together a list of our top picks for markets and stores selling produce in London, Ontario. Our 530/540 Proudfoot Lane Communities are located in a quiet neighbourhood, only minutes from Western University, downtown London and much more.

Covent Market

Covent Market has been a London tradition since 1845 and sells a variety of fresh fruits and vegetable, meats and cheeses, grocery items and specialty body and health care products. This much loved landmark is a seasonal outdoor market that is built on long and rich traditions as one of London’s centres of commerce and community. Throughout the season at Covent Market you can also expect to see live music, theatre performances and a variety of community events. We recommend checking out Doris Family Produce at Covent Market as they offer a wide variety of in-season and locally produced fresh fruits and vegetables. Covent Market is a 15-minute transit ride from Hazelview’s 530 Proudfoot Lane Community.

Farmers and Artisans Market at The Western Fair

This local farmers’ market is primarily known for its Saturday Farmers’ Market that is a popular destination for local chefs, cooks and gastronomes in search of a wide variety of artisanal produce and products. The market is brimming with high-quality, farm-fresh goods that are sold directly by the person who produced them. This market takes place in the Confederation building, with an area of 52,000 square feet, 80 vendors and a seasonally rotating roster of farmers and culinary artisans.

Masonville Farmers’ Market

Masonville Farmers’ Market is a treasure of over 40 local farmers, artisans and food producers. This market is conveniently located in North London, outside of Masonville Place. Here you will be able to find high-quality seasonal produce, along with delicious baked goods, meats, dairy products and much more. The Masonville Farmers’ Market is open every Friday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. from May to October.

Remark Fresh Markets

Remark Fresh Markets offer a specialty indoor market-style grocery store that is full of fresh and seasonal produce, ready-to-eat meals, organic meats and cheeses and much more. In addition to their produce, Remark Fresh Markets is also known for the amazing meat selection, which includes rack of lamb, hand-packed beef and turkey burgers and Atlantic salmon.
