Over the past three and a half years Joe has come to expect the unexpected. Some parts of his day fit neatly into a well-oiled routine – he always wakes up, he usually has breakfast, and he often heads to his office, or sometimes directly to one of the Hazelview properties he services. But when Joe walks out the door his routine ends.
In his position as Regional Maintenance Associate, Joe’s day takes on a variety of forms, all shaped by the needs of Hazelview residents. Joe’s the guy behind the scenes, keeping the furnace working, the hallways lit, the lawns neat and the walkways clear; dozens of the small- and large-scale tasks that tend to go unnoticed in the day to day. In a way, it’s part of his job to go unnoticed, and while Joe maintains his buildings with the utmost professionalism, Joe never goes unnoticed. Joe’s good-natured presence is immediately announced wherever his day takes him; he’s preceded by a warm smile and disarming sense of humour, that when coupled with his considerable skillset and overall handiness means when Joe shows up at your apartment to solve a problem, you can count on a quick solution and a hardy laugh.
