5 Places to Check Out in Parkdale

Toronto is such an amazing city with so many cool neighbourhoods to explore. Think you know Parkdale? Think again! Here are 5 incredible places to check out in the Parkdale neighbourhood in Toronto. Check them off your bucket list and thank us later!

The Grill Cottage

Love Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food? You need to visit The Grill Cottage. It's an amazing, super casual eatery where you can find everything from shawarma to Greek salad and seafood for great prices. You can even eat well for under $10 here thanks to their burgers and wraps. Spend a bit over $10 to venture into their more robust plates and poutines. They serve Halal food as well!

Loga’s Corner

Love dumplings? Visit Loga’s Corner for the best Tibetan momos in Toronto. Chase your filling order of momos and chilli sauce with a refreshing mango lassi and call it a day.

Ali’s Roti

If you love West Indian cuisine, Ali’s Roti is the place to dig into it in Parkdale. From jerk chicken and oxtail with peas and rice, to beef patties and doubles, to dhal puri and paratha rotis -- you'll be satisfied for sure. Even vegans and vegetarians can eat very well here as they have a whole vegetarian menu and even serve some vegan ice cream flavours for dessert.

Tilt Arcade Bar

Travel back to the fun filled 80s and 90s at Tilt Arcade Bar, Toronto’s biggest retro arcade which features more than 90 games like pinball and console booths. You can play all night for just $10 cash! Unlike the arcades of your youth, you can drink alcohol while you're here! They have over 20 beers on tap and a full food menu of classic comfort fare like corn dogs, burgers and fries.

Martin Goodman Trail

If you want to enjoy nature, and some of the best lake views in the GTA, hit the Martin Goodman Trail. It's a 56-km multi-use path that runs all along the waterfront. No need to stop there though -- it's part of a 730-km waterfront trail that goes all the way around Lake Ontario.

This city has so much to offer! We hope you get to visit these amazing spots in Parkdale.
