Celebrate the coming of fall with Oakville’s Autumn Harvest Festival and a variety of other local events that celebrate the season. Hazelview’s Oakville Communities are located in the heart of scenic Kerr Village, which overlooks beautiful Lake Ontario and offers stunning fall views.

Autumn Harvest Festival

The Autumn Harvest Festival is taking place in the heart of downtown Oakville each Saturday from October 3rd until Saturday October 31st 2015. This local festival runs from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and will feature a variety of fun events for both kids and adults. These include hayrides throughout the downtown core, children’s crafts in Towne Square, a photography competition for best fall photo, delicious food vendors and stunning fall decorations throughout the city. The winner of the photography competition will win $250 and the pride of knowing they had the best fall photo in Oakville.

Spooktacular Halloween

From Saturday October 17th until Saturday October 31st the Mountsberg Wildlife Centre will be hosting their annual Spooktacular Halloween events. This includes a Creatures of the Night presentation with live birds of prey. There will also be a haunted barn, pumpkin patch, hay maze and more.  

Tiny Tots on Parade

On Saturday October 31st from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., Downtown Oakville will be hosting the annual Tiny Tots on Parade costume contest. Bring your little ones dressed in their Halloween best to parade through downtown Oakville and to visit with the Oakville Fire Department. There will be Halloween treats, prizes and activities for the little ones.

Springridge Harvest Festival

Springridge Farm’s annual Harvest Festival will be taking place every weekend from Saturday, September 19th until Saturday, October 31st. Activities will include wagon rides, a giant corn trail, professional puppet shows, a haunted farm house and more. There is also a pick-your-own pumpkin patch so you and your family can find the perfect jack-o-lantern.
