If you are a foodie or wine lover, then you need to check out the upcoming Ottawa Food and Wine Festival. In today’s post, Hazelview Properties gives you a breakdown of the festival, including our top picks for can’t-miss events. Our Ottawa communities are located in some of the brightest and most bustling areas of the city, including the scenic Britannia area, the prestigious Sandy Hill neighbourhood and in the trendy ByWard Market district.

The Ottawa Food and Wine Festival

The Ottawa Food and Wine Festival has been providing both locals and tourists with an amazing festival celebrating all things food and wine since 1985. This 30-year-old festival is back for another year of food, drink and fun from October 30th until November 1st at Ottawa’s Shaw Centre. There will be live demonstrations, samples from various vendors, contests, cooking lessons, wine tastings and much more. You can purchase special event tickets, which give you VIP access or a Tasting Floor Pass which is your standard daily pass for the event. The Shaw Centre is only a ten-minute walk from Ottawa’s 135 York Street apartment in Ottawa.
