Hamilton's Top 5 Study Spots for Students

Share:

Variety is the spice of life, especially when it comes to diversifying your study spots. Luckily for students living at The Glen in Hamilton (44-50 Glen Road), there are plenty of spots to choose from. With easy access to McMaster University, The Glen is just steps away from great study spots in Westdale and central Hamilton. Next time you have a big test or paper due, pack up your laptop and headphones and head to one of these great study spots.

1. McMaster Libraries, of course! Open until 10:45 on weeknights, the libraries offer different learning zones to create the perfect environment for whatever you need to get done.

2. My Dog Joe in Westdale (1020 King St. W) has free wifi, fresh baked goods, and most important: quality caffeine! Open most nights until ten.

3. Westdale Branch of the Hamilton Public Library (955 King St. W) offers wifi, bookable meeting rooms, and a break from the collegiate atmosphere of the University Libraries.

4. Leave Westdale for Locke Street and check out Johnny's Coffee (129 Locke St. S). This place has great local character and is open most nights until midnight.

5. Don't discount the two-storey McDonald's (50 Dundurn St. S) just across the 403 from The Glen. If you're planning an all-nighter, then you'll appreciate that it's open 24 hours with plenty of coffee and space to spread out.Â
