With festival season almost over, make sure to check out these September outdoor festivals near your Toronto apartment.

Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition

The Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition is a free art exhibit showing some of the best local, national and international talent. This is Canada’s largest juried outdoor exhibition and aims to showcase the cultural and artistic abilities and talent of Toronto. The Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition takes place from September 18th until the 20th and is located in Nathan Phillips Square. Admission is free. Hazelview’s 42 Maitland Street Apartment is a 20-minute walk to Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto.

Poochella TO

Calling all Toronto and GTA dog lovers. Poochella TO takes place on September 20th in Woodbine Park and is a free event and outdoor party for our four-legged friends. Events and activities at Poochella include a doggy photobooth, awards for best costume, a dog show, adoption fair, live music and food vendors. Poochella is a fun and free event for everyone, including dog lovers that don’t have their own pet.

Music in the Garden

Music in the Garden is a summer long festival in Toronto that runs from July until mid-September. This event takes place in the Toronto Music Garden and is free for people of all ages. The Harbourfront Centre (where the Toronto Music Garden is located) will be presenting a new season of free outdoor concerts. Music in the Garden features classical, traditional and even new age music from around the world in a beautiful setting.

Toronto Food and Wine Festival

The Toronto Food and Wine Festival is a popular festival in the city that runs from September 18th until the 20th. This year’s location for the Toronto Food and Wine Festival is Evergreen Brick Works. Over the course of three days, the Toronto Food and Wine Festival will showcase the creative and culinary talents of chefs, artisans, brewers, wineries and more. There will be a tasting pavilion, celebrity chef demonstrations, cooking classes, tutored tastings and other special events.
