Looking for local Manitoba and Winnipeg sports teams to support this winter? In today’s article we give you three can’t-miss sports teams that will have you entertained and excited all winter long. Winnipeg Jets

This pro hockey team is a member of the Central Division of the Western Conference in the NHL. When the Jets are playing home games or practicing they play at the MTS Centre, an indoor sports arena and rink in downtown Winnipeg. The full Winnipeg Jets season schedule is available here. The MTS Centre is only a 20-minute transit ride from Hazelview’s 15 Arden Avenue Community in Winnipeg.

Manitoba Moose

The Manitoba Moose is another professional hockey team based in Winnipeg, that plays in the AHL (American Hockey League). The Manitoba Moose also play their home games in the MTS Centre. Individual tickets for the Manitoba Moose start as low as $19 per ticket. Ticket information is available here. Winnipeg Blue Bombers

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are Winnipeg’s professional football team. They are members of the West Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL). The Blue Bombers play their home games at Investors Group Field, which is a 30-minute transit ride from Hazelview’s 160 Smith Street Community. The Blue Bombers season runs into November, with the full schedule available here.
