Spring Events Across Canada

Share:

Spring means festival season is starting and there’s so many great events to get excited about. Hazelview Properties has a few suggestions for fun events happening across Canada to discover. Add them to your calendar,  you won't want to miss them!

Canadian Tulip Festival

Nothing says spring like fresh tulips! If you have the chance, check out the annual Canadian Tulip Festival in Ottawa. You can see millions of tulips, enjoy live music and see artists working away on their crafts. The festival is a celebration of international friendship between Canada and the Netherlands after WWII and it will take place from May 10th to 20th. It’s also free of charge! Don’t miss the fireworks show to celebrate Queen Victoria’s birthday on May 19th at 8 pm.

Spring Beerfest TO

Looking for a beer festival? Look no further! Spring Beerfest is coming up in Toronto on May 18th and 19th. If you like cold beer, yummy food, great music and games, there’s really no better place to enjoy the Victoria Day weekend. The event will be held at Fort York: Garrison Common and costs just $24. Your ticket includes general admission and a commemorative mug.

Sip and Sizzle

There’s no better way to welcome Spring than with refreshing wine and delicious food. At the Sip and Sizzle event in Niagara-on-the-Lake, you can do just that. Visit over 20 wineries and try amazing grilled food and wine pairings. It’s the perfect way to discover new wines, go for a winery-hop and just hang out and relax. Tickets are available for $55 and valid for one of four weekends in May.

Canadian Music Week

Get ready for a week full of incredible music! Canadian Music Week is one of the most well-known entertainment events in North America. It features a music festival, film festival, award shows and an industry conference. At this year’s event, you’ll have the chance to see music legends from around the world, as well as new and emerging artists. If this sounds like something you don’t want to miss, you can purchase individual show tickets or buy the Explorer Wristband, which grants you access to all of the shows for only $50. Canadian Music Week kicks off on May 6th in Toronto!
