Chicopee

For almost 80 years Chicopee Ski and Summer Resort has been providing skiing entertainment to the local communities of Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph and the surrounding areas. Chicopee is one of Ontario’s most popular family skiing destinations and is a great place for both beginners and more advanced skiiers. Chicopee offers a number of learn to ski and snowboard programs, equipment rentals, racing programs and an on-site lounge for food and drink. Chicopee also offers seasonal memberships, affordable day rates and winter camps. Chicopee Resort is only a 15-minute drive from Hazelview’s 50 Mooregate Crescent Community in Kitchener.

Hockley Valley

Hockley Valley is a year-round resort that is situated on 300 acres of some of Ontario’s most beautiful countryside. The resort features a stunning ski resort that is a popular destination for people in Toronto, Kitchener and London. Hockley Valley offers ski and snowboarding day passes, seasonal passes and a variety of lessons and programs. Lessons are from certified instructors and coaches are available privately, in groups and in monthly camps. The resort features 14 alpine runs from beginner hills to more advanced slopes.

Glen Eden

Glen Eden Skiing and Snowboarding is buzzing with activity all year long. In the fall and winter people of all ages gather to ski, snowboard and go winter tubing, while Glen Eden features mountain biking and hiking trails in the summer. This is a great place for beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders to practice their skills and enjoy some fun in the snow. Glen Eden offers an equipment rental shop, fully equipped terrain park, snow tubing and lessons for all ages and skill-levels. Both season’s passes and day tickets are available. Glen Eden Skiing and Snowboarding Resort is a 40-minute drive from Hazelview’s 66 Mooregate Crescent Community in Kitchener.

Horseshoe Resort

Horseshoe Resort is one of the most popular ski and snowboarding resorts in Ontario, with 29 runs, a completely re-designed terrain park and over 45 kilometres of groomed cross-country ski trails. Horseshoe Resort offers a number of lesson and program packages, racing school, on-site lounge for food and drinks, equipment rentals and night skiing. Guests can also go snow tubing once they’ve tired themselves out skiing and snowboarding.
